Jane (kiss_my_hawt_hiney and man.killer01) from Magic Pool has sadly passed away at the age of 57 on Monday, December 14th 2009. Many of us know her as the sweet, caring & loving friend who is most known for running Magic Pool in their glory years, and cleaning all the garbage up. A true Texan at heart, young Jane excelled in Barrel Racing [Rodeo event where a horse & its rider completes a clover-like pattern in the quickest time possible], but later on her ambition for pool rose to the top. Not only was she an ambassador of Yahoo! Pool, helping admin WPC, IPA & PRO, she had founded the South Texas Pool League and had been the President for the past 10 years. One who always pushed for everyones best, Jane's bottom line was all about having fun, and it was imminent in Y!Pool as Magic Pool was one of the most active, most fair & well run leagues in its time. The current HA of MP, Ian, was one who knew her best over his 5 years on here, and he had this to say.. "She was a very good friend whom will be missed by many Magic Poolers and anyone else who was given a chance to know her, and she will certainly be missed by me so much. RIP Jane your pain is over."
It's hard to put ones influence, especially Janes, into words. Her obituary's are below, Jane, thank you for everything you have done, you will be missed, RIP.

Brit Pool [3-6] vs Straight Shots [5-4]
BP's top of the table schedule run hasn't done well for them so far, as they are 2-8 combined against MP & Freedom respectively. While BP are all the way down in 7th, they aren't that far out of the playoffs at all, and this week could be the deciding factor in their post-season fate. With Straight Shots big 3-2 win over MP this past week, they find themselves into a tie for second place after an abysmal start to the season. Nick [who has a great blog recapping the matches & MVP's] has been their key player in that run, as he has won 4 straight matches and seems to be the one that was needed to tip SS over the top & grab those wins. These two sides are very evenly matched, so it may come down to luck, and I'm thinking one team will snap their tough-luck slide in the process.
Prediction - 3-2 BP
Magic Pool [5-4] vs Money in the Bank [2-7]
Magic Pool are coming off a tough loss to SS as a possible 2 game lead for MP over SS changed to a draw and holds MP back a notch. The problem for MP (again) are that those consistent players, aren't showing up anymore. Steve was a key member of MP but needed a new scenery change to say the least, but the core of MP that are able to show 90% of the time is dwindling down, but Chris is Chris after all, and should have some tricks up his sleeve. Rich & company didn't need to roll their sleeves up this past week as they were paid & had the day off. With a no-show by their opponents SP, they get one step closer from getting out of the cellar and making a jump up the standings. With everything Rich has going on for him these days, he could very well pull off an upset should he get his best to show and MP continue to falter.
Prediction - 3-2 MP
Sexy Poolerz [5-4] vs Extreme Pool Competitors [5-4]
Both sides here no-showed last week, both had their excuses, in the end the losses were accepted and we all move on. SP come in as the favourites to de-throne Freedom even though EPC are the only side to defeat them. With MP having consistently issues and SS making a late run with a lesser line-up, I would be heavily surprised if neither of these teams finished in the top 2. SP have much more consistent, solid talent then EPC, but when EPC show they can do quite a bit of damage, but which EPC will show this week?
Prediction - EPC 3-2
Ultimate Outlaws [4-5] vs Freedom [7-2]
Coming off a no-show victory, UO have crept within 1 win of drawing even with second place, the problem? 4 others are tied for that second place, but with a win here, UO will be able to gain some major ground, and try to be the second team to defeat the front runners. Freedom have lead the entire way, and it seems every time they slip up, everyone else has as well. With the calibre of players on his line up, Petey has multiple weapons, and multiple MVP candidates to choose from and I don't see them slipping up anytime soon.
Prediction - 4-1 Freedom

Week 9
Freedom [6-2] vs Brit Pool [3-5]
After a loss to EPC, Petey & company will look to repeat the first half of the season, meaning wins from here on out. Freedoms success has been due to everyone that plays, winning the majority of their games. You look at other interleagues and it may not be the same case for many of them. For BP they now have the same common trait in all the interleagues the participate in, underachievement. After their departure the other week in IPA, you look at the standings for the other 3 interleagues and you have to look a ways down to find BP, a team many thought would be near the top..
Prediction - 4-1 FR
Extreme Pool Competitors [5-3] vs Ultimate Outlaws [3-5]
Last week before their match with Freedom, rumours of withdrawal were swirling to whether or not they would stay due to a rough patch, safe to say the old Jack has left the building. After a big win over Freedom, EPC are back as the competitors they call themselves and now look to get those losses back and try and catch up to Jacks favourite little pal, Petey. For UO, who knows who their pals are, some HA's hate them, other HA's are told to die which is a shame because behind the big mouths, UO have some sweet hearts with Rebs & Ebs to name two [that rhyme], and girls at that, go figure! Will they be able to throw EPC off their game and continue a great rebound from a bumpy start or will EPC get er done?
Prediction - 3-2 EPC
Money in the Bank [1-7] vs Sexy Poolerz [5-3]
MIB are quite possibly the best last place team I have seen in quite some time [hopefully that's taken as a compliment as it's meant to be]. MIB have shown they are able to compete with anyone & everyone in this interleague as well as others, and with all the new players coming in, that push over the top could be in their line-up now. If this was UIC, I may very well predict MIB for the upset, but with cam, comes SP's true talent. Pete is a prime example of giving it 110% when you know your opponent wont try and pull any fast ones and its shown with his impressive record thus far. SP are strong on cam, too strong for MIB, for now..
Predictions - 4-1 SP
Straight Shots [4-4] vs Magic Pool [5-3]
Here is what I like to call a barn burner of a match. Nigel & company are on the rise in GIT which begs me to ask the question, is Nigel taking this seriously now or is SS that good? We'll find out this week as they'll be facing a challenge in MP. Chris & company are bringing MP back into the interleague scene and in a big way. With solid performances all over Y!Pool and only better ones to come, MP have the skill and the shooters to take out any team in a big way if they aren't careful..
Predictions - 3-2 MP

Week 8
Brit Pool [3-4] vs Magic Pool [4-3]
Finishing the season couldn't have been any better as Drew's crew were able to beat up on Jack & EPC and possibly send them out of the league. It's been a rough start to the season for Trey & company, but with 7 weeks ahead, nothing is set in stone and if anyone can make a late season run, its BP. MP have made late season runs before, but now they like to win from the get-go. Chris & company have had a rough start but there's nothing they can do about it. It seems the only thing holding MP back is just the bad side of the coin that's flipping for them. Many of their games have been lost due to poor luck on their behalf, so once that turns around MP should be flying high.
Prediction - 3-2 BP
Sexy Poolerz [5-2] vs Straight Shots [3-4]
With their victory over MP, Pete & company showed us that SP are the other team at the top, and if anyone is going to finish above Freedom, its them. SP thrive in cammed interleagues, and hate losing, so much so that Pete has been winning, all of his games. Clearly that's a statement. For SS, they don't care so much about GIT, its just a Sunday interleague to them, and just like those Sunday drivers, they're just going to play pool and if Nigel gets a winning squad, then he'll be happy for just a few more days..
Prediction - 4-1 SP
Ultimate Outlaws [2-5] vs Money in the Bank [1-6]
Coming off a thumping to SS, UO look to start the second half of the season the same way they did the first, with a win. UO have had a bumpy road this season but may have found a consistent team that can play and are capable of beating just about anyone. MIB aren't just anyone, they're my new favourite team! Rich is one of the best guys in the game today, the league is bumping and his interleague squad should be doing the same soon. What goes around comes around and with all the respect everyone has for Rich, he's getting some good players and it's only a matter of time until he finds the rightmix and his squad starts performing. They are easily the most underrated team now and can do some big damage if the other team isn't looking.
Prediction - 3-2 MIB
Freedom [6-1] vs Extreme Pool Competitors [4-3]
After a big 5-0 victory over MIB to end the first half, Freedom complete the first half of the season as the number one team and enter the second half looking for revenge over their only flaw thus far. The main reason why Freedom are atop is that everyone is winning for them. A quick look at the new MVP page [Kudos to Joe] shows that not only do Freedom have 4 players in contention, but another 2 in the "best of the rest" list, and none of those 6 include IPA's MVP Adam. For EPC, they started off as the best team, but back to back losses to finish the first half may be end of their season, with rumors swirling about withdrawal's, who knows what's next for Jack & company.
Prediction - 5-0 Freedom

Week 7
Extreme Pool Competitors [4-2] vs Brit Pool [2-4]
Quality over quantity is nice & all, but depth is a necessity. EPC may have the best starting 5, but they sometimes don't have 5. After newly added Ant drew the score against MIB to 2 a piece, Jack had to FF game 5 as he didn't have any other players, dropping a valuable W that may haunt them down the road. For BP they tried crossing the road to play SP last week but got hit by a bus or two as they were downed 4-1. It hasn't been a great weekend for Drew & company as they lost to TC in UIC, but had the best performance in the IPA all-star match. If Drew [Happy Birthday!] is able to succumb to his Birthday hang over in time for GIT, BP may be able to pull an upset.
Prediction - 3-2 EPC
Freedom [5-1] vs Money in the Bank [1-5]
Coming off a solid 3-2 victory over SS and jumping on EPC's miscue, Freedom find themselves in sole possession of first place, which is not bad at all considering they don't have a captain! With such a solid roster, including 3 players who were named to IPA's all star match, its no wonder Freedom are flying high. MIB are flying high as well after picking up their first win of the season, against EPC none the less! A great win for Rich & company who have picked up a few new players for yet another week. Freedom need to be careful because MIB have some serious talent now with God, Adam, Magician & Stevon.
Prediction - 3-2 Freedom
Utimate Outlaws [2-4] vs Straight Shots [2-4]
After a tough loss to MP this past week, the fact that UO's extra push is gone is coming to surface. UO has always been able to compete but lately with all the withdrawals, it seems that their winning ways are going to be dimmed down a touch. For SS, their GIT performance was dimmed down from the beginning and well, you can tell. But what's interesting in this match up, is while both teams are 2-4, these two have Saturday night off in UIC and are 1-2 in the standings. I don't think either team will miss this chance to try and get the other team worried, even if it is for another interleague.
Prediction - 3-2 UO
Sexy Poolerz [4-2] vs Magic Pool [4-2]
After back to back 4-1 victories over two teams from the lower half of the standings, Pete & company go back to testing their skills against a solid MP squad who had a bit of trouble with UO this past week, but were able to get past them 3-2. Both teams are fairly even in skill, but with SP having home-side advantage, they should get the nod in this one.

Week 6
My apologies for this weeks predictions, it has been a hectic week to say the least, but thank you for reading & best of luck to everyone!
Brit Pool [2-3] vs Sexy Poolerz [3-2]
BP were able to break out of their slump by robbing enough out of MIB's piggy bank for a 3-2 victory they clinched in 4 games. Trey & company will look to continue that streak, and ride the streaks of his own [Trey, 3-0] as well as Adam [smooth_kid_2003, 2-0 with BP]. SP are shocked and confused I'm sure, their captain Pete has gotten off to a flawless 4-0 start, accounting for 1/3 of the teams victories. While I'm sure Ketan & the rest of them still wont take Pete's advise, Pete could care less as he leads a top notch team and will try and put together another win streak to keep pace with the top teams.
Prediction - 3-2 SP
Magic Pool [3-2] vs Ultimate Outlaws [2-3]
After being thumped by Freedom this past week, Chris & company look to rebound against a team on the downfall. Both Ian & Steve have been crucial for MP this season as the two of them have accounted for half the teams victories so far. For UO, the rest of the "league hoppers" are on their way out, but like I said last week, none of them really ever won. Rebs has some solid talent in her arsenal, why they haven't been able to break through is beyond me, but look for D [_xAUSTIN316x_] to break his slump as he's quite capable of a 7-8 win season.
Prediction - 3-2 MP
Straight Shots [2-3] vs Freedom [4-1]
After being blanked by EPC this past week, the road ahead for Nigel & company isn't much smoother as their opponents are atop the standings with that very same EPC crew. That side being Freedom, still "don't have a captain". The heart and soul of Freedom though have led them thus far to an almost flawless start defeating heavy weights SP & MP, and narrowly losing to EPC in the first week. It seems like they've been getting wins from everyone but the man who went 9-0 in IPA, so it doesn't seem like there is much to worry about here.
Prediction - 4-1 Freedom
Money in the Bank [0-5] vs Extreme Pool Competitors [4-1]
MIB were able to come close to BP last week but not close enough to be able to cash in their first win. Rich & company seem to be trying new things with all the new players coming in, and hopefully it turns out well for them. EPC have turned out quite well in the past few months, as they are second in both standings they are apart of. A large part of this here has been because of the likes of Ben, Mikey & Timm all being on their game as they all have 3 wins thus far.
Prediction - 4-1 EPC

Week 5
Money in the Bank [0-4] vs Brit Pool [1-3]
Being respectful, nice and every ones fan favourite sure is paying off for Rich & company. It seems lately MIB have had quite a few new comers, that could very well be the one to push MIB over the edge and start picking up some W's. Adam is the most notable one as when he is on his game, he is one of the best in the game, and now with Stevon & his followers coming here, Rich will have their support until they leave in a month. Many, many months you could have thought were the last ones for Drew & BP but they never left, and here they are. After a close lose to UO this past week, Trey will look for his guys to bounce back and slowly start to move up the standings. BP have the talent to make the playoffs, but maybe they're just waiting to make another UIC-like miracle run.
Prediction - 3-2 BP
Extreme Pool Competitors [3-1] vs Straight Shots [2-2]
Jack & company are flying high after dethroning the first place team this past week 3-2, and will now try and defeat a team everyone predicted to be at the top. Jack hasn't had the best of starts individually but his team has been able to carry the load and lead EPC to a top place tie. With everything that has gone on in the UIC shout box, I feel its necessary to compliment Kev on his first win in 3 tries here in GIT. He is a beast, that is clearly tamed. It was SS's first real win of the season this past week as they defeated MIB 4-1, and I know Nigel has told me that GIT isn't his #1 priority, but c'mon, this is SS! Nish has gotten off to a poor start as well, but once these players get back into their consistent methods, SS should be competing for a playoff spot down the road.
Prediction - 3-2 EPC
Freedom [3-1] vs Magic Pool [3-1]
Coming off what I believe is their best win this season, Freedom seem to be the best team in GIT, and if they can produce this week, then they're for real. With a team that highly resembles their top notch IPA team, its no wonder they are at the top. Everyone from top to bottom in their roster has been producing, and the ones with the lesser records seem to be the most dangerous ones on the team. With so much fire power, will MP's quiet arsenal be able to compete? MP have a solid team with the likes of Ian, Steve, Chris, DD, Sid, Andy & Joe, but with Pete being the one to match everyone up, Chris will need his boys to step it up if they look to stay atop the standings and avoid losing 2 straight.
Prediction - 3-2 Freedom
Ultimate Outlaws [2-2] vs Sexy Poolerz [2-2]
Who cares how they did last week, that's the past, and UO needs to look forward. Stevon & company strike again and have left UO, disrupting a few feathers along the way, leaving Rebs to take a step back and really ponder what she's been left with. On one side, you can look at everyone who's leaving and the numbers they've put up in GIT, and well, not much of a loss there. On the flip side though, shes losing numbers, can you really take quality of quantity if you cant field a team of 5? Rebs has fight and I do believe she'll still be able to show with a solid 5 and do even better. Ebs has been their best player thus far and will need to continue to produce if UO look to stay in the midst of the playoff race. SP were able to show that they are one of the better teams in GIT, taking Freedom to the limits and losing in a close one. As long as their heads are on right, Pete & company should be able to take advantage of UO's organizational troubles and get an easy win.
Prediction - 4-1 SP

Week 4
Brit Pool [1-2] vs Ultimate Outlaws [1-2]
Coming off a big win against SS, BP have finally picked up their first win and hope to start a streak up. With such a deep roster, having enough is never the question, but having the players that are on key playing, is. Hopefully Drew & company can build upon last week against a UO side that were obliterated lasted week by Freedom. Rebs leads a solid squad that can compete with BP, but with home advantage meaning so much more in GIT, I have to give the tilt to BP.
Prediction - 3-2 BP
Sexy Poolerz [2-1] vs Freedom [2-1]
SP sure are strutting their stuff after a big 3-2 victory over EPC that went all the way to the wire. After playing their first test in GIT, SP now face a team that is shaping up to be the favourites to win it all. With a solid line-up consisting of players like Ash, Adam, Corey & now Craig to name just 4, why wouldn't they? Big test here for both sides to see where they find themselves in GIT.
Prediction - 3-2 Freedom
Magic Pool [3-0] vs Extreme Pool Competitors [2-1]
After a confusing 3-2 victory for MP this past week, Chris & company find themselves as the lone undefeated team left in GIT. Months ago MP seemed all but dead, withdrawing from interleagues, poor league activity, but with the return of Jane, the attitude of Chris, & Ian never giving up, MP are now once again at the top of all interleagues, and I'll throw this out there too, no aimer accusations for quite some time. They cleaned up well, and look to clean out EPC this week in what will be a great, great match. EPC have a solid squad as well with players like Timm & James leading the way for them. EPC show some inconsistency at times while MP is yet to have a major off week in their new era, I believe that'll be the tale of this weeks match-up.
Prediction - 3-2 MP
Straight Shots [1-2] vs Money in the Bank [0-3]
After bringing one of his best line-ups this season, Nigel still came away with a loss but looks ahead and will try and take advantage of a struggling MIB side. Rich & company have been competing every week with every team, but they just don't have that player or step-up that will push them over the edge [as evident with their three 2-3 losses]. I don't see it changing this week either.
Prediction - 3-2 SS

Week 3
Straight Shots [1-1] vs Brit Pool [0-2]
Straight Shots were simply shut out by MP this past week, and it wasn't because their stars weren't there. Whether it was a bad day, people overrate them, or MP are just good, SS need to move on, and fast. Looking at the standings, this would be a good bounce back week, but Brit Pool is a lot more then 0-2. BP have had an unlucky run to say the least. If a few bounces went left instead of right, they very well may be 2-0. They have the talent to compete for the championship, and the players know the season is long so a little hole wont keep them from trying, especially when they know the kind of holes they can dig themselves out of [BP last season in UIC].
Prediction - 3-2 BP
Money In the Bank [0-2] vs Magic Pool [2-0]
MIB lost a doozey to the new comers in the 5th game, but can clearly take a number of positives away from it as they were able to hang with a great squad all match long. The problem is, Rich & company have the talent to hang with most leagues, but they don't have that game changer that can push them over the edge. At the same time, you cant really say MP has one either, but they have quite a bit of talent so who cares.
Prediction - 4-1 MP
Extreme Pool Competitors [2-0] vs Sexy Poolerz [1-1]
EPC kept up their great start with a big win over UO this past week and if they can keep it going against their opponents this week, then Jack, you sir, are for real. EPC were able to showcase some more talent as they introduced Mina & Tim to their already stacked line-up. The problem? SP don't care. Pete & Ketan come to play, and destroy. They have a small but solid line up through out interleagues, and I do believe Pete will get his top 5 just because it is Jack.
Prediction - 3-2 SP
Freedom [1-1] vs Ultimate Outlaws [1-1]
Whether they have a captain or not on a page, is ludicrous to how they play. The heart & soul of the league has yet to play, and it may be so these other "predictors" keep assuming. After a tough loss to EPC in the first week, this captain-less side came back in a big way and crushed BP 4-1, and look to start a streak. With players like Adam, Corey & Koty to name 3, Pete's got a ton of talent to chose from. UO have a great roster as well which keeps Rebs happy. What may not keep her happy is the fact her squad lost a close one to EPC this past week, and just a week ago Freedom demolished her squad 5-1 in IPA. With the same kinda squad for both these sides, I don't think it'll stay that close.
Prediction - 4-1 Freedom

Week 2
No wild card prediction, don't think it's a good idea.. Hope you enjoy anyways & best of luck to everyone this week!
Brit Pool [0-1] vs Freedom [0-1]
BP weren't able to live up the hype, or MP just stepped it up a notch as BP fell 3-2 in their first week. BP as whole has been haven't been doing to well lately in interleagues which is quite unexpected with all the talent they have, just like Freedom. Petey leads a quite talented side, that seems to be on the wrong side of the coin flip lately. He has his top 2 from IPA so far, so their first week loss to EPC should be forgotten about soon as I believe Pete will want to avoid another oh-fer start [like UIC (0-3)] & bring his top 5 and make his buddy [Drew] cry.
Prediction - 3-2 Freedom
Ultimate Outlaws [1-0] vs Extreme Pool Competitors [1-0]
UO show cased their talent this past week as they defeated a strong MIB side 3-2, but will need everyone to step it up for this week. UO have tons of talent, like their opponents, but just like their opponents, its their mouths that are giving them trouble in interleagues, so far, both sides have been angelic in GIT! Will Jack be able to keep it up? No doubt in my mind, he's got the talent to keep winning, and a winning Jack is a happy Jack, so happy he'll be changing his shorts every few moments.
Prediction - 3-2 EPC
Sexy Poolerz vs Money in the Bank [0-1]
Welcome to GIT SP! For those who don't know, Sexy Poolerz is a great, active, friendly league but their interleague team is easy to remember. Not too many, but great shooters, and they excel in cam leagues, so GIT should do nothing more then ignite Ketans fire! For MIB, they had a rough first week losing a close one to UO, and they may very well get their registered wiped clean here as Ketan & company would love to start this season off in a big way, hopefully someone reads the rules about wild cards before Pete embarrasses himself!
Prediction - 4-1 Sexy Poolerz
Magic Pool [1-0] vs Straight Shots [1-0]
MP had a strong first week as they topped BP 3-2, motivated mainly by everyone not choosing MP to win. Nice work guys! You'll love this one then. MP lead a small, quite, but sound group with talent up & down their roster, and most importantly, they're very reliable to show. Chris as a captain, is, smart. He does his research, and is quite articulate, quite like his opponent this week. Nigel has been a great captain since what seems like forever, and while people have their views on him, you cant argue his resume. He leads another great squad [judging by the credits] into this Sunday interleague and as long as he can get them to show more often then not, SS will fair quite well.

Week 1
With these predictions, I'll also be noting at the end of the predictions if the "Banking Wild Card" should be played, and who is best to suit it. I will not be dealing with the Last Pocket card simply because half the players are capable of making LP easy for themselves.
Magic Pool vs Brit Pool
The thing with the MP squad, is so many of their players are overrated, but at the same time, the rest are underrated. Either way, MP have plenty of good shooters that can nip ya if you're not paying attention. One who has been paying attention, is the HA of BP. When asked if he believes his league is over-hyped, "yes" wasted no time appearing in the conversation. Should he worry? To a degree since as it is we place BP on a pedestal high above our wildest imaginations, but that doesn't mean they can't get there.
Wildcard - Best banker? Drill__. Who to stay away from? UIC10 ED-MVP Jeremy.
Prediction - 3-2 BP
Straight Shots vs Extreme Cues
The reason I was the lone predictor to have SS missing out on the playoffs was confirmed by someone special just today, but does that mean SS aren't capable of making the playoffs? Of course not! Nigel will bring a solid 5 week in & week out, but with the amount of compact talent in the league, will it be enough? Some people could say have had enough of Ben and his league hopping antics, but for the time being he's with EC and Paul couldn't be happier. With Ben comes leadership, dedication, and some good shooters [until he leaves]. EC would've been able to bring the heat without him, but with him? Better getchya popcorn ready!
Wildcard - Best banker? nullified. Who to stay away from? The not-so sleepy Paul.
Prediction - 4-1 EC
Money In the Bank vs Ultimate Outlaws
So, no one knows anything about either of these leagues apparently, history lesson? MIB was created by Rich and was a bit of a spin-off league from TC. He has picked up steam within the league and has been able to compete with the big dogs in WPC, IPA & UIC. His players aren't well known, but underestimating them is just, well, dumb. Ultimate Outlaws, were a quiet league. Led by Rebs, UO slowly creeped into the interleague scene, gaining plenty of experience along the way and finally this season breaking through with some solid scores in most notably IPA & WPC. Lately though, the once very-sporty side has turned around have slowly been gaining a poor reputation. A shame because they had picked up Jordy, but who knows now..
Wildcard - Best banker? Monte. Who to stay away from? CRAZYREDNECK/SKULL_FUCKER
Prediction - 3-2 Money in the Bank
Extreme Pool Competitors vs Freedom
3 mixed reviews from the other predictions about EPC. "They have no one", "He should have his IPA team" & "He's got some good shooters coming in". Well, his IPA team is pretty good as evident by their undefeated record, but he does have some good shooters in, and some "sicc" players coming in. Jack will always be there no doubt, along with his "mvp", but what about the rest of his team? Consistency is always the key for Jacks squad, not playing well, but getting his top guys to show more often then not. He's a damn hard competitor and he's been cleaning up his act and it's done well for him, so I don't see him changing any time soon. Apparently Freedom needs to change their captain because it seems their hopeless at the moment. With no captain or co-captain listed, it has some saying they may withdraw week 1. Did Momma ever tell you not to judge a book by a cover? Like Jack, Pete's a competitive guy and will push as hard as he can to get a full, skilled roster.
Wildcard - Best banker? That sicc mvp. Who to stay away from? MLP's bank comp winner Petey

There's the first week, hope you enjoy them! Best of luck to everyone this week & season!
Welcome to Season 1!
Welcome to Global Interleague Trophy everyone! I've decided 2 blogs a week weren't enough, so without Chris' current knowledge of me wanting to do this, here I am! GIT promises to be a great interleague, while bringing many new characteristics to keep it very interesting. Chris has assembled a top-notch admin team with Joe [RiffRaff] in the background helping every step of the day, and presenting us with a great page, and a jaw-dropping banner! The admins in Pete [Freedom], Drew [Brit Pool], Jane [Magic Pool], Jeremy [Brit Pool, most known for Lucky Shots] & Paul [Extreme Cues], all have plenty of talent and experience and it has already shown. Chris & Joe wanted this Sunday interleague to differ from the rest, and it will. Rules that we can actually enjoy reading because they are sensible have been in place for a while and I encourage everyone to read them [It wont take all day like other interleagues, I've read them twice already!]. The largest aspect GIT is offering is one that is a big "hit or miss" with everyone. The illusive "Wild Card", where the home team can pick a game to be Last Pocket or Bank the 8/Q [Each 5v5 match has 1 LP & 1 Bt8/Q card that only the captain can use. You dont have to use them, or you can use both in the same game. Either way, atleast 3 games will be regular 8]. Great idea to shake things up and obviously being all cam will help that out. GIT has started off small, and I like why. With 8 leagues in, competition will be plenty with full rosters week in & week out, and I do foresee many "upsets" because with the leagues in and their resumes from past interleagues, show how capable they are of beating anyone, on any given day, making pre-season rankings, a crap shoot!
So here are my pre-season predictions, that are just pointless and for viewing pleasure. Pred's will be up in a few days!
#1 - Brit Pool
The only player both Tyler & Ben mentioned from BP, is Drew. While yes Drew is a top notch player when he wants to be, Drew doesn't need to be much, because of the core he has created through the years, and now with the 8bc merge, he has picked up a ton of depth. Trey & Justin will have fun, because they can.
#2 - Freedom
I hyped them in WPC, currently in ninth. Hyped them in IPA, still undefeated. Hyped them in UIC, without a win. Lets hype them again shall we? Pete already has Corey signed up for him and he'll definitely be one to look out for as the season 1 MVP and Pete I'm sure has a few more coming over from his IPA squad, so as long as they hit a consistent key early, Freedom will be one of the favourites for the title.
#3 - Extreme Pool Competitors
While everyone else has a massive bias view towards Jack, I'd like to hope I know the real Jack. A real down to earth guy, who has common sense but sadly a lack of patience, which has given everyone their views about Jack. With the way GIT is set up, I do truly believe all of you will see a different Jack, but the same EPC we see in IPA. Strong, deep line-up that will be capable of 5-0ing anyone, the only problem I see is consistency, and Jack is known for his off weeks. He'll be able to coast to the playoffs I believe, but from there its all on him.
#4 - Extreme Cues
Back into the interleague scene, Ben & Paul lead a revamped EC league with a lot of good talent coming in recently. EC will be one of the deepest teams along with BP, and it'll serve them very well in the long run.
#5 - Magic Pool
A league that slowly drifted away from the interleague scene but has been revamped with the return of Jane & Chris' leadership. The newer MP squad have faired well in interleagues thus far, being able to compete having most matches come down to a coin flip. They have a fair amount of talent, they just need to be able to stick with the better players more often then not to prove me wrong.
#6 - Money In the Bank
Rich branched off from TC during the summer and started a small, quiet league with a group of friends, and slowly it has turned into a quiet interleague force. While they're not exactly in the running for titles, no league really wants to play them because MIB has so much talent ready to break through, they will never be an easy opponent.
#7 - Straight Shots
I predicted them to make a mockery of UIC so no one can complain with this. Nigel is back at the helm after having others step up to be captain for a few teams recently, and will be mighty shocked with this prediction. SS have good players, but the only worry I have with them is whether or not those good players will show on a consistent basis.
#8 - Ultimate Outlaws
The same team I predicted to make the UIC playoffs, as well as challenge for a spot in IPA, sees themselves in last. Why? GIT will be that close. With all the controversy UO has quickly brought to every ones attention, Chris will hope they stay in line enough to avoid much trouble. Trouble aside, they will be giving all teams trouble here as they've in all interleagues so far, have given some of the toughest teams almost too much to handle.
So here are my pre-season predictions, that are just pointless and for viewing pleasure. Pred's will be up in a few days!
